San Francisco SAFE, Inc. has a number of crime prevention and
public safety services available to you free of charge.
Neighborhood
Watch:

Business Watch:
Business Watch works in the same way as Neighborhood Watch, but
merchants, store owners or managers, and other businesses get
to know each other, share information, and discuss crime or issues
affecting their area. SAFE's Business Security Specialist will
help organize a Business Watch and facilitate meetings in much
the same way as a Neighborhood Watch.
Personal Safety:
SAFE's Public Safety Coordinators can provide personal safety
presentations for children, youth, adults and the elderly. We
will combine common sense with specific techniques to increase
your safety at home, on the streets, on public transportation,
ATM safety and vehicle safety. We have information for victims
of crime, including sexual assault and domestic violence victims,
and also tips for people with disabilities. We have a multi-lingual
and multi-cultural team that can tailor safety presentations to
any group.
SAFE can also visit your workplace and give safety presentations
to the employees.
Home Security Assessment:
One of SAFE's Security Specialists will walk through your
individual home with you and offer recommendations on how to make
it more secure. We try to make simple and low-cost recommendations
unless you have more complex needs. You are not required to follow
these recommendations. Multi-unit buildings, apartment complexes,
and condominiums are charged a fee for our services due to a larger
number of residences involved, and a more lengthy assessment.
