Auto Breakins on the rise - Recently San Francisco has seen a disturbing increase in the number of stolen vehicles and thefts from vehicles,
also known as “auto boosting.” Visit our Safety Tips & Brochures Page to download information about how to prevent auto boosting and what to do if you are a victim.
Utility Burglars - The suspects use the ruse of posing as ‘water
company’ workers who gain entry to test the water pipes.
As one worker pretends to examine the water, another rifles
through the victim’s bedroom, taking cash. If you see
such suspects, deny them entry and call 911. Click here to download a public safety advisory on these crimes.
